David W. Smith is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he attended California University of Pennsylvania, and received a B.A. in Communication with a specialization in broadcasting.
After receiving his degree, Mr. Smith moved to Washington, DC where he worked as Broadcast Coordinator for Major League Soccer’s DC United. While with DC United, Mr. Smith gained valuable experience in public relations, entertainment, television production, and logistics.
In May of 2006, Mr. Smith received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami Law School, where he was a Fellow at the Center for Ethics and Public Service, designing, researching, drafting, and presenting ethics training courses at non-profit agencies, governmental agencies, and prominent law firms in the greater Miami area.
Mr. Smith now focuses his practice on issues involving transportation law, logistics, interstate commerce, and small business consultation.
